Security Begins at Home and in Your Own Business

Security has become a major concern these days and security systems are in demand in all areas of Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg. We live in uncertain times. With the current global economic crisis, businesses are facing downturns. Now, more than ever, companies need to protect the bottom line not only by increasing profits but also by preventing losses. One of the major sources of loss in businesses is theft. This includes both external theft and internal theft. It can be theft of material goods or information. It can be theft against the company itself or against its clients. Theft in all forms is bad for business. Aside from theft, losses can also be incurred from fire. Then there is vandalism. Commercial security systems can provide video surveillance and alarms, as well as access control, to guard against these.

If you feel the need to protect your business, you should consider the security of your home, as well. After all, your loved ones are infinitely more important than your source of income. As jobs are lost at a large scale with no promise of alternative employment, crime levels are expected to rise. It is unthinkable to leave our families unprotected and at risk especially if there are security systems designed specifically for homes available in Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg.

Commercial and Residential Security Systems

Discreet twenty-four-hour video surveillance can be provided with the use of digital surveillance cameras in residences or business locations. These cameras can be positioned strategically to give maximum coverage. Several can be made to work together.

When linked to a Digital Video Recorder (DVR), not only are images from the surveillance camera stored for later viewing, they are also made available for remote viewing anywhere around the world. All that is required is a static IP address, an internet connection and a computer. Any notebook, laptop or desktop PC will do. In other words, you can be sure that your home or business is under constant surveillance, night and day. You can check it out at any time in real time. You also have a permanent record of all surveillance tapes, whether you have viewed them or not, for future reference.

Surveillance alone will not suffice, though. Access control installed in all doorways ensures only authorized entry using security cards and prevents unwanted intrusion. Window and door sensors, as well as motion and glass break detectors, catch cases of unauthorized entry. Alerts are then immediately raised by alarms.

Fire safety detection and alarms, as well as life safety, can be provided, as well. All these are linked to a 24-hour emergency response system.

The entire package can be integrated into any intelligent building system, whether existing or customized. Service and support is available round the clock even on weekends. Upgrading and expansion is affordable as your needs change. Such security systems can be had through financing or by lease arrangements.

In choosing a security system for your home or business in Tampa, Clearwater or St. Petersburg, go for a market leader with a proven track record. One example would be the ProVision Security System trusted by Anytime Fitness health clubs for the security of all their branches and franchises worldwide. It is no mean feat to have been chosen by what is considered to be the largest 24-hour co-ed fitness club in the world and the fastest-growing global fitness franchise.

If you are considering acquiring a residential security system, perhaps you can ask for referrals to their residential clients in Tampa, Clearwater or St. Petersburg and get actual feedback. I would do no less if it were for my own family. The important thing is that you do everything possible to keep your family and your business safe and sound.

Sounds to me like you've already made your decision concerning your own life, but if it were my own teenager I would force him to go visit a drug rehab center. Statistics are nothing more than numbers. Try witnessing an real addict experiencing withdrawls. I was nine when my family kept telling me that my dad was sick. I got pissed and demanded to go see my father, that if he was "sick" I had a right as his child to check on his welfare for myself. I found out he was in a drug and alcohol rehab center and was mixing Crown Royal and Valium. I walked into his room, he was strapped down in three areas of his body, his waist, his head, and his feet. He was shaking, sweating, and he couldn't control his own body movments. I was truly scared just looking at him. I walked up to his side, put my hand on his arm, and said, "Daddy?" He turned his head, looked me straight in the eye and said, "Who are you?" His own daughter, I was NINE YEARS OLD, and my own father didn't know who I was. That was NOT an experience that I wanted to pass onto my children. The decision to do any type of drugs or alcohol was a sealed deal at that very moment in my life. You can quote statistics, websites, doctors, whoever you want, that's not something I would ever want to put any member of my family through whatsoever.

My husband's has had three siblings spend several trips to PRISON as a result of smoking pot, doing drugs, drinking and driving, whatever else you wanna throw in there. WE had to help his sister-in-law raise her four children and two grandchildren, because their father was more interested in serving himself and doing drugs than taking care of his CHILDREN. Yet another example I would never want to pass on to any grandchild of mine.

In my opinion, it's a waste of time to CHOOSE to do any kind of drug whatsoever. But as I have already stated, if my son came to me and said he was going to do whatever drug, I would drive him straight to a rehab center to witness the effects for himself. It's your future, no one can force you to do anything, including using drugs. Just always keep in mind that every decision that you make in your own life has an effect on the lives of those around you, that love and want the best for you.

Good luck with knowing it all!!

The wife should be arrested too, she obviously was an accomplice to the man's wheeling and dealing. His belonging should be sold and part of the proceeds should be given to the man whose identity it is that he stole. He certainly would not have been able to get away with as much as he has if it weren't for greed, greed on the parts of him, his wife(desperation on her part as well) and on the parts of those who have contracted him without the necessary or required paperwork. Because greed is such a ruling factor I doubt that stories like this will ever cease to exist. Unless it become less attractive due to the increasing likelihood of a Jail sentence if one were caught. Bottom line enforce the laws.

yes, but that is the downfall of mankind we do not pay attention to the lessons of history
there have been great men in our history, but we only give a token tribute to them and really don't study their thoughts.
i have always felt that the leaders of our country should be required to study a curriculum of history.

It is possible for you to contact your bank to avoid any future bank account debits associated with this organization. Just to be sure, you may inquire with your bank about closing out this account to open up a new one. I would probably go that route if I were you.

As for the organization that scammed you, I would try calling everyday to complain about the situation in hopes that "the squeaky wheel will get oiled". You may also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, which is free and available completely online.

The Better Business Bureau is also known to help consumers with mediation in situations such as this one. Assuming that the organization is legitimate, it is very possible to get its attention when the BBB contacts it on your behalf. Of course, if the organization is full of a bunch of "scam dogs," this will be quite a bit less effective. In any case, it doesn't hurt to try.

    Good luck to you!

That’s amazing! It always seem easier to draw on the computer then on paper. Really now, to color like that makes me curious, though everyone’s style of art is different.

It was a combination of these things. President Bush wanted to reform the Mortgage act by regulating either fannie or freddie. The Glass Steagall Bill was holding the Federal Government from doing this. This is about the time that they started calling Bush King Bush. He was a good business person. This did not lead to former President Bush. It is just a way of passing the buck so the other party looks bad.

I realize there are a lot of hard workers in the USA but when Congress raised minimum wage to 7.25 per hour this hurt the small businesses. The same Congress that rushed the 100 hours through are still present and accounted for. They are the law makers, not the president.
